Trust & Credibility
Who actually are you? Is this a real company? +
Yes. As Good as Done is a UK registered limited company. The business behind it has been operating for 18 years under the same ownership, evolving through different forms as the industry has changed. We started as a digital marketing agency over a decade ago in Dubai, then moved into AI-powered digital services for private clients. Now we're making that same expertise available to every small business.
How long have you been doing this? +
The company has been running for 18 years. We've evolved from a digital marketing agency to focusing on AI-powered digital services. The technology changes, but the core expertise, understanding what businesses need and delivering it, has been the same throughout.
Can I see examples of work you've done? +
We don't share our clients' proprietary information, and we wouldn't share yours either. That said, we do have case studies that demonstrate the kind of work we do and the results we achieve. We'll publish these on the site shortly. In the meantime, we'd suggest starting with a small task so you can judge the quality for yourself with minimal risk.
Do you have reviews or testimonials? +
Yes. We're collecting testimonials from our clients and will be publishing them on the site. If you'd like to speak to an existing client as a reference, get in touch and we'll arrange it where possible.
Are you a registered company? +
Yes. We are a UK registered limited company. Our company details are available on Companies House.
Where are you based? +
We're based in the United Kingdom. Our account managers work GMT hours (9-5 Monday to Friday), though our technical team operates 7 days a week. We work with clients globally. The nature of digital work means location doesn't limit what we can do for you.
Can I speak to someone before committing? +
Absolutely. Leave your number and we'll call you back at a convenient time. We're happy to have an informal chat before you commit to anything. There's zero pressure. We'd rather you felt comfortable than rushed.
What happens if you disappear halfway through? +
We understand this concern, and it's why we structure things to protect you:
Your protections:
• You sign a formal engagement agreement before any work starts
• Milestone-based payments mean you never pay for work that hasn't been delivered
• All work is done within your own systems and platforms, nothing is locked away on our side
• You have full ownership of everything from day one
• We're an 18-year-old registered company. We're not going anywhere
Security & Access
You need access to my website. How do I know you won't break it? +
Before we touch anything, we take a full backup of your site. This means if anything unexpected happens, we can restore it to exactly how it was within minutes. We also work on staging or development copies wherever possible, only pushing changes to your live site once everything has been tested and approved.
Our safety process:
• Full backup taken before any work begins
• Changes tested in a staging environment where possible
• You approve before anything goes live
• Professional indemnity insurance covers our work
Will you see my customer data? +
It depends on the task. Some work (like CRM setup or data migration) may require access to customer data. In those cases, we operate under a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that legally binds us to handle your data responsibly. We only ever access what's strictly necessary for the task, and we're fully GDPR compliant.
How do you store my passwords and login details? +
We use enterprise-grade password management tools (like 1Password for Teams) with end-to-end encryption. Your credentials are never stored in plain text, emails, or shared documents. Access is strictly limited to the team members working on your project.
What happens to my access credentials after the job is done? +
Once the work is complete and you've signed it off, we permanently delete all your credentials from our systems. We'll confirm this in writing. If you'd prefer, you can also change your passwords after we're done. We'd actually encourage it as good security practice.
Are you insured if something goes wrong? +
Yes. We carry Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance which covers errors, omissions, and any damage caused by our work. We also have Cyber Liability insurance covering data breaches and security incidents. We can provide certificates of insurance on request.
Do you have a Data Processing Agreement? +
Yes. For any work that involves handling personal or customer data, we provide a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) as required under GDPR. This legally defines how we handle, store, and delete your data. It's included as part of our engagement agreement.
What if you accidentally delete something? +
We always take a full backup before we start any work. If something is accidentally deleted, we can restore it from the backup, usually within minutes. This is a non-negotiable part of our process. No backup, no work.
AI & Technology
Is this just AI doing everything? Is a human actually involved? +
Humans run every job. Our technicians work with human expert advisors on every project. Think of it this way: in the same way that accountants use spreadsheets and calculators to work faster, we use code, AI, and various software tools to deliver results more efficiently. There is always a real person you can talk to, on a live video call if you want. The thinking, the strategy, the quality control: that's all human.
Will the work look like it was done by a robot? +
Never. Every piece of work is reviewed and refined by a real person before it reaches you. We use AI to speed up the heavy lifting, not to replace human judgment and creativity. If you can tell the difference, we haven't done our job properly.
How do I know the quality is as good as an agency? +
Start with a small task and judge for yourself. That's the honest answer, and it's what we'd recommend. You'll quickly see the quality of work we deliver. Remember that many agencies use similar tools and methods behind the scenes. They just don't tell you about it, and still charge the same money.
If AI is doing most of the work, why am I paying at all? +
AI and software still cost money, and they still require expertise to use effectively. Even if you knew everything we do, would it be worth your while doing it yourself? That's the real question. We've invested heavily in building the tools, systems, and expertise to deliver this work. You're paying for the result, not the hours it takes us.
Is my data being fed into an AI model? +
When AI tools are used as part of your project, any data processed is anonymised and is not used for training purposes. We use enterprise-tier AI services that have strict data handling agreements in place. Your business information stays yours.
What AI tools are you using and are they secure? +
We use a variety of mainstream, enterprise-grade AI platforms and software tools, all of which have robust security practices, SOC 2 compliance, and clear data handling policies. We don't use experimental or unvetted tools on client work.
Pricing & Payment
Why are you so much cheaper? What's the catch? +
There's no catch. We build tools and systems that let us do jobs faster. We're optimising the human labour costs that are often the biggest expense in any digital project. No project managers managing project managers. No fancy office. No account directors billing £200/hr to attend your meetings. Just skilled people, smart tools, and great results.
Is this estimate the final price or will it go up? +
The initial estimate gives you a clear ballpark. After a scoping call where our account managers review the work, consult with our advisory panel, and clarify any outstanding questions, we'll confirm a final fixed price. Once you accept that price, it won't change, unless the scope of work changes.
Do I pay upfront or after the work is done? +
For most tasks it's 50% upfront and 50% on completion. For larger projects, we'll agree a milestone-based payment schedule, so you pay in stages as work is delivered and approved. You'll never be asked to pay 100% upfront.
What if the job takes longer than expected? Do I pay more? +
No. All our jobs are fixed price, so there are no surprises. If it takes us longer than we expected, that's on us, not you. The only scenario where the price could change is if the scope of work changes (i.e., you ask for additional things that weren't in the original agreement).
Do you charge for the scoping call? +
No. The initial estimate and scoping call are free. For particularly large or complex projects that require significant upfront research or consultancy, there may be a charge, but we'll always tell you before any costs are incurred.
What payment methods do you accept? +
Bank transfer and card payments.
Are there any hidden fees or monthly costs? +
No. All fees are transparently shown to you before we start any work. If there are any ongoing costs (for example, if you opt for a monthly maintenance plan), these will be clearly agreed upfront. No surprises, ever.
Can I get a refund if I'm not happy? +
We don't offer blanket refunds as we will have already incurred costs in delivering the work. However, if we fail to complete the agreed scope of work, we will remedy the problem in the best way possible, which may involve a partial refund or credits against future work. Our engagement agreement covers this in detail. We're motivated to get it right because repeat clients are the backbone of our business.
Process & Communication
Who is my point of contact? +
You'll have a dedicated account manager who is your single point of contact throughout the project. They'll know your business, your project, and your preferences, so you never have to repeat yourself.
How do I send you feedback or change requests? +
You can email your account manager directly. They'll action your feedback and keep you updated on progress. Simple as that.
How many revisions do I get? +
This depends on the type of work, but typically creative work includes 2-3 rounds of revisions as standard. Further revisions beyond that may incur an additional charge, but we'll always discuss this with you before any extra costs are applied.
What if I don't like what you've done? +
We'll do our utmost to make sure you're happy with the work. It's in our interest. Repeat customers are how we grow. If something isn't right, tell your account manager and we'll revise it. We'd always rather fix something than leave you unsatisfied.
How often will you update me on progress? +
As often as we agree is necessary. For shorter tasks, you'll typically hear from us when it's ready for review. For longer projects, we'll set up regular check-ins. Weekly updates are standard, but we can adjust the frequency to whatever works for you.
What hours are you available? +
Your account manager is available Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm GMT. Our technical team works 7 days a week, so work continues even outside of business hours. Weekend account manager availability can be arranged in advance for urgent projects.
Do you work weekends? +
Our technical team works 7 days a week. Your account manager typically works Monday to Friday, but can be available on weekends by prior arrangement if the project requires it.
Scope & Capabilities
Can you work with my specific platform (Wix, WordPress, Shopify etc)? +
We can work with most major platforms. We'll confirm whether we can work with your specific setup before any commitment. If for any reason we can't, we'll tell you straight rather than take on work we're not equipped for.
What if my project is bigger than you can handle? +
We haven't had one yet, but if that day comes, we'll be honest about it. We'd rather decline work and point you toward a company better aligned with your needs than take something on and do it badly. Honesty is more valuable to us than a single project fee.
Do you do ongoing maintenance or just one-off jobs? +
Both. Many of our clients start with a one-off task, like the quality, and then move to a monthly maintenance plan. We're equally happy with either. There's no pressure to commit to anything ongoing.
Can you help with things not on your services list? +
Yes. The services list on our homepage is just a sample of what we can do. If it's digital and it needs doing, there's a good chance we can help. Just ask. The worst we'll say is "that one's not in our wheelhouse" and point you in the right direction.
What if I don't know exactly what I need? +
That's completely fine, and many of our clients start that way. We offer consultancy packages where we assess your business, identify what needs doing, and recommend a prioritised plan of action. Think of it as a digital health check for your business.
Quality & Guarantees
What if the work doesn't achieve what I wanted (e.g. SEO doesn't improve rankings)? +
We can't guarantee results on third-party platforms. No one can, and anyone who promises you specific Google rankings is not being honest. What we can guarantee is that we'll use industry best practice that is generally accepted as the right approach. Our advisory panel of experienced specialists helps ensure every piece of work meets the highest standards. If something isn't performing as expected, we'll work with you to adjust the approach.
Do you guarantee results? +
We guarantee the quality of our work, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes where third-party platforms and external variables are involved. No honest agency or freelancer will either. What we do guarantee is that we'll use proven methods, deliver what we agreed, and work with you if things need adjusting.
What does "agency quality" actually mean? +
It means the same standard of work you'd expect from an experienced digital agency: well-structured, thoroughly tested, following current best practices, and built to last. The difference is how we get there: smarter tools and leaner processes instead of large teams and expensive overheads. The output is the same. The cost isn't.
Will the work be tested before you hand it over? +
Yes. Always. Every piece of work goes through quality assurance and testing before it reaches you. For websites, that means cross-browser and cross-device testing. For technical work, it means thorough functionality checks. We don't hand over anything we haven't verified ourselves.
Legal & Compliance
Do you have a proper contract? +
Yes. You'll receive a formal engagement agreement before any work begins. This covers the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, timelines, revisions, intellectual property, data handling, and liability. Nothing starts without both sides agreeing in writing.
Who owns the work once it's done - me or you? +
You do. 100%. Once the work is delivered and paid for, full intellectual property rights transfer to you. It's yours to use, modify, or build on however you see fit.
Are you GDPR compliant? +
Yes. We maintain a full GDPR compliance framework including:
• A published Privacy Policy detailing how we handle data
• Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) for all projects involving personal data
• A clear data retention and deletion policy
• Secure, encrypted storage for all client information
• Regular review of our data handling practices
Timeline
How quickly can you start? +
It depends on the task and our current workload, but typically we can start within a few days of the engagement agreement being signed and the deposit received. For simpler tasks, it can be even faster. We'll always give you a clear start date upfront.
What if I need something done urgently, same day? +
Same-day turnaround may be possible depending on the task. Let us know when you submit your request and we'll do our best to accommodate. Urgent work may carry a priority surcharge, but we'll always tell you before you commit.
